INDIA -
DREUSICKE Berlin was founded as INDIA Tastenfabrik Berlin by Felix
Dreusicke in 1929. At that time the production range
was pressing of rubber caps
in a 2-colour process. They were used as toppings for the glascaps
used in typewriters and other office machinesat that time (1929).
This resulted in a smoother touch for the writer. The rawmaterial
used was INDIA-RUBBER from Southamerica, still to be found in the
company's name. The company is registered at the Amtsgericht Berlin-Chsrlottenburg
since 1934 (HRA 135 39).
After the death of the founder Felix
Dreusicke in 1972 his wife,
Berta Dreusicke, was the head of the company.
Until 1982 the technical managment of the company was done by the
daughter of the founder, Annelies
Dreusicke.
1982 the
son of the founder, Thomas Dreusicke
joined th company. He acquired the company on January 1st 1985.
The financial manager is Ute Dreusicke.
Starting 1993 Mr. Ritter,
since 2001 Mr. Adamski
is the technical manager, Mr. Ziegler
und Mr. Scheffler
are the mould designers, Mr. Laabs
is in charge of the production, Mr.
Lohmann is manager for quality ensurance. The mouldshop
is under supervision of Mr. Schlenner.
Today the
company produces with an own highly
modern mouldshop e.g. housings for the
industrie industrial and consumer
use and for instance housings
for the DEUTSCHE TELEKOM.
The main
business today is the manufacturing of moulds (for us and for customer
use), the production of various technical and visible plastic parts.
We also do surface treatments as for instance pad printing inline,
silkscreening, ultrasonic welding, laser engraving, spray painting
etc.
The name
changed to INDIA-DREUSICKE Berlin to avoid the restriction
of the old name "Tastenfabrik = manufacturer of key caps".

Details
|
| In
1959 the company started injection moulding with equipment from Battenfeld
- BSK 20 V and H. The first ARBURG "Injection moulding machine",
a C 4 with hand-driven clampunit was bought in 1965. This machine
was "up-dated" with a pneumatic driven clamp unit after
six months. In 1968 the company purchased an Allrounder A 100 U, in
1970 an Allrounder A 221 was bought. In 1982 the generation of microprocessor
controlled machines began.
Today the
company owns 27 CNC-machines of the Type ARBURG HydronIca, HydronIca
D, CMD and SELOGICA
All moulds
are being designed at an inhouse 3-D CAD System with interfaces
to STEP, IGES, VDA-FS, and more.
In 1982
the first padprinting machine was bought for printing medium and
high quantity at reasonable prices. In 1991 the company started
spray-painting and laserengraving.
A quality
system according to DIN / ISO 9000 - 9001 was installed in the same
year. Computeraided measuring and controll systems are used to certify
a high standard regarding length, weight, moisture, roughness and
colour. The data is taken directly from the production machines
if required.
The company
is supported by a computer based Supply Chain Managment System (SCM).
This relayes all datas from finance, technics, production and quality
into one database. The complete computer network and the SCM system
is capable of dealing with the YEAR 2000ff and the EURO. Since August
2001 the new SCM SYstem from BÄURER AG was installed, assisted
by a online System for the production data from the company ProSES.
At this system all of our moulding machines are connected online.
An inhouse
mouldshop, highly modernized starting 1999 with 3-D CAD/CAM, Wire-EDM
(AGIE), Dye-EDM (AGIE), 3-axis CNC-milling (DECKEL), 3-axis HSM-milling
(BOSTOMATIC) and a 3-D coordinate measuring machine (MITUTOYO) is
connected to one network.

| A
new chapter - the new building |
| A
new chapter in the company chronicle was opened Dec 21st 1996. After
only 6 months the company moved into her new own production and office
building D-12277
Berlin - Marienfelde, Rigistraße 11.
By the construction
the newest technologies for production were used including enviromental
safety aspects:
- 3D Dataimport
of PC- and UNIX- Data,
- The use
of this data for NC-Processing in our CAD-system,
- Transfer
of the data to the mould making machines,
- Computerized
injection moulding machines with SPC-Data transfer,
- Computerized
ultrasonic welding machinery,
- Marking
facilities with a laser engraving machine,
- Marking
facilities with vertikal and round printing machines,
- Patchfield
for flexible use of rooms with PC´s , input points of data,
- Telefon-/facs.-/Modem-
connections,
- CAT5
cabeling for 150 MHZ - network,
- Mirrored
server with daily full backup,
- Big roof
light inlets for optimal illumination in the production hall,
- Illumination
automaticly adapted to the amount of daylight,
- 2-circuit-cooling-system
for the prod. machinery with use of heat into the heating,
- Floor
heating for office and production,
- Generously
dimensioned 10KV transformer system with emergency-power supply,
- Usage
of the waste separation-system.
- With
those facts we are fit for the future demandings of the market
and ensure the production place Germany.
Our Goals:
We are
capable of advising our customers different processes to produce
a part according to their needs,
e.g. we make parts in 2-material process hard/soft as well as conductive/nonconductive
(MID).
We process so different high-tec materials like PVDF, PEEK, PEI,
PPS, ... as well as PA, PE, POM, PC, ...
